Cryptune is a free daily puzzle game operated by Morning Sun Games, an independent games studio based in the United Kingdom. By playing the game at cryptunegame.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Cryptune is free to play and is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You are welcome to play it as much as you like, share your results, and tell other people about it.
You agree not to attempt to interfere with the game or the site, including by trying to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, by scraping or bulk-copying the puzzle content, or by using automated systems to play it. You also agree not to reproduce the puzzles elsewhere or to present the game or its content as your own work.
The game, its design, its code, its written content and its puzzles are the property of Morning Sun Games and are protected by copyright. The names of artists, songs and albums referred to in the puzzles are the property of their respective owners, and appear here as references within a quiz-style game rather than as any claim of ownership, endorsement or affiliation.
Cryptune is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any recording artist, record label, publisher or music service mentioned in the game.
Your scores, streaks and preferences are stored in your own browser. They are yours. We cannot see them, we cannot restore them, and we cannot transfer them between devices. Clearing your browser data will delete them permanently, and there is no backup.
We do not guarantee that your progress will survive a browser update, a change of device, or the use of private browsing mode.
Cryptune is a small independent project and is provided on an as-is basis. We do our best to keep it running and to publish a puzzle every day, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the game at any time without notice.
Puzzles are checked carefully before publication, but occasional errors happen. If you spot one, please tell us through the contact page and it will be corrected.
The game is funded by advertising. Advertisements are supplied by third parties and their content is not chosen, written or endorsed by us. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.
Cryptune accepts voluntary contributions through Ko-fi. These are gifts, not purchases. They do not unlock features, remove advertising, or entitle you to anything within the game, and they are not refundable through us. Payments are handled entirely by Ko-fi under their own terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morning Sun Games is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the game, including lost game progress, interrupted streaks, or any consequences of relying on information in the puzzles. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top, and continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
